Product Designer — Apparel, Print & Merchandise.
TOiHAUS
Fashion Design · Creative Direction · 6-look runway collection · Spring 2025
An original six-look collection designed, patterned, and sewn with two collaborators, Lianne Calvo and Faithyn Chukundah, for FAST’s Spring 2025 runway show. I led the collection concept, model casting, branding, and photoshoot direction — then extended the identity into printed matter: lookbook photography and a postcard set. TOiHAUS treats hair and accessories as material and memory, translating a soft-sculpture sensibility into wearable garments.

FAST 2025 Magazine
Editorial & Print Production · 200 pages · Editor-in-Chief · 2024 & 2025
FAST’s 200-page annual print magazine, led end-to-end for two consecutive years: concept, layout system, cover design and photo retouching, and final print-file production. The 2025 issue included a designed spread for the Nike x FAST collaboration photoshoot. I managed pre-press, color separation, and paper and ink decisions — and trained the 11-person design team on production-ready InDesign workflows.
FAST Rebrand, Merch Line & GOODMVMT Hoodie
Brand Identity · Merch Art Direction · Winning apparel design · Team of 11 designers · 2024–25
As Graphic Design Director I led a club-wide rebrand for FAST, UCLA's 200+ member fashion organization — logo, visual identity system, and marketing assets across all programming, driving a 40% increase in membership applications. From the same identity I directed the full merchandise line — tote bags, t-shirts, and sweatsets — from concept through vendor production. For FAST x GOODMVMT, a collaborative hoodie produced with an outside clothing brand, my graphic was selected as the winning design out of competing team submissions and put into production, delivered as production-ready separations.
Promotional Graphics
Promotional Design · Social & Event Graphics · 2023–25
Selected promotional graphics for events, publications, and social campaigns — including a radio show collaboration and K-pop editorial.
Independent Practice
Self-produced art prints and postcards, sold at artist alley conventions — color and print quality controlled end-to-end, from large-format Epson printing to paper stock. Plus a 15-second pencil-on-paper animation made under the supervision of Chuck Sheetz (The Simpsons).
Artist alley table — self-produced prints, postcards, and cutout displays. Product design, pricing, and merchandising all mine.
About Me
I'm Irene Chung, a product designer working across apparel, packaging, and merchandise. At UCLA (B.A. Design | Media Arts + B.A. Psychology) I directed graphic design for FAST, the university's premier fashion organization — leading a rebrand, art-directing a merch line through vendor production, and producing a ~200 page print magazine two years running. I care most about the last 5%: color separations, paper stock, print quality, and files a vendor can actually use. Fluent in Korean and English. Based in Los Angeles.
